Dear NAMMU Member and mailing industry colleague,
The
attached letter written in response to a National Post article
of October 31, 2005, regarding the Exclusive Privilege for
International mail, will bring you up to date with NAMMU actions.
Most parties
concerned in this legal dispute have by now received a copy of
this letter. As well, NAMMU has responded verbally to any and all
requests for clarification and subsequent actions to be taken.
This is a
complicated and complex issue that needs to be settled with the
best possible outcome. NAMMU continues to offer its services to
mediate a positive result, and regardless, has urged the parties
to step forward and begin productive dialogue.
