The PENTE Corporation Tapped for 2005 Mail Excellence Awards

Toronto June 29, 2005…..NAMMU President, Kathleen Rowe, today announced the agency selected to drive results for the 2005 NAMMU Mailing Industry Awards, The PENTE Corporation, headed by founder, Bob Pente.

“We are absolutely delighted to make this announcement, and fully confident Bob and his team will take these awards to a whole new level of success. The PENTE Corporation track record is impressive - from retail and financial services to not-for profit campaigns – all trademarked with that successful ability to fully integrate advertising, direct marketing, promotions, public relations and graphic design, and deliver winning results for clients. Strongly supporting this ability is Bob Pente’s belief in acknowledging and rewarding the best mail campaigns, and his team’s desire to give something back to the industry. Definitely a winning approach and a powerful combination of ability and desire from which the NAMMU Awards can only benefit” stated Rowe.

Campaign objectives have been agreed, strategic discussions are underway, concepts and media selection under review, for the 2005 NAMMU Mailing Industry Awards that honor excellence in the dominant use of the mail channel. New this year are the sub-categories which will attract a broad range of entries, as well as an Early Bird entry incentive. No major changes will be made to the judging format which ensures all entries are scrutinized by the top judging team of industry professionals.

Bob Pente, The PENTE Corporation, said: “I’m glad we’re going to be associated with this award program. That a group that’s working on the front lines of Direct Mail chooses to recognize excellence in their field only makes sense. Who better to select the best in this media than those who live it every day?”

NAMMU also released an Early Bird “call for entries” form. “This is an important addition for agencies and other mailing industry sectors who have been in touch about the 2005 awards. They want a head start so they can plan their entries and compete in as many categories as possible” noted Kathleen Rowe.

Call for entries Early Bird closing is August 25, final call for entries closing is October 5. Early Bird call for entries information: click here Event venue and timing will be released in July with the full campaign roll-out by The PENTE Corporation.
