MVV offers a suite of tools for improving the quality of elector information including:
Address Accuracy
DataFix uses its own Canada Post approved address accuracy program to identify incorrect mailing address components such as street names and postal codes. This feature reduces the amount of returned mail.
Duplicate Names
Using a sophisticated name-matching algorithm, MVV can identify names that appear on the list more than once. Each potential duplicate is assigned a score or degree of probability that the name is a duplicate based on matching information such as gender, birth date, physical address and mailing address.
Name Anomalies
This feature allows the user to find names that do not follow normal naming conventions such as only a last name, only a first name, numeric values or trustees.
Suspect Mailing Addresses (Senior Facilities)
This option identifies institutional facilities where the physical address and mailing address are different. This allows the user to ensure that any contact information is sent to the physical address.
