Telephone Append

The Telephone Append/Verification process checks the records in your database individually against the most current version of the electronic telephone database to update and add telephone numbers to your business or residential listings where available.

DataFix has extensive experience in using telephone directory data for verification and appending purposes. Our matching code has been highly tuned to maximize the number of matches to the various telephone databases while minimizing the number of potential mismatches.

This takes into account the many unique characteristics and limitations of these databases, including:

• Only partial first name information (generally, just the first initial) exists for most records
• Apartment and unit numbers are missing for most urban addresses
• Rural address data generally lacks uniquely identifying "additional" information.
